Business Analyst

<div><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong><br>The Banking Business Analyst – Data &amp; Reporting is responsible for supporting data analysis, reporting, and management information initiatives within the banking domain. The role involves gathering and translating business requirements into data-driven insights, designing MIS and regulatory reports, and working closely with IT and BI teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with reporting tools, and a solid understanding of banking products and processes across retail, corporate, treasury, or operations functions.</div><div><br><strong><u>Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)</u></strong><br>• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector<br>• Strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, and management information systems<br>• Hands-on experience with advanced Excel and working knowledge of SQL (basic to intermediate)<br>• Experience using reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms<br>• Strong understanding of banking products and processes across Retail, Corporate, Treasury, Risk, or Operations<br>• Experience working with data warehouses, data marts, or enterprise MIS environments<br>• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions<br>• Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, and data mapping documents<br>• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills</div><div><br><strong><u>Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)</u></strong><br>• Experience supporting regulatory and compliance reporting<br>• Exposure to UAT planning, execution, and data validation activities<br>• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and information security standards<br>• Experience with reconciliation processes and variance analysis<br>• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models</div><div><br><strong><u>Qualifications &amp; Experience</u></strong><br>• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field<br>• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain<br>• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, data, and BI teams<br>• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills<br>• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced banking environment</div>
