Business Analyst, Clinical Pharmacy
Job Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacy Business Analyst is an important colleague of ArchWell Health Pharmacy Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacy, the Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing clinical pharmacy reports, audit tools, and dashboards to improve efficiency and effectiveness across different teams. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring that solutions meet business objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across teams or departments to gather, document, and validate data captured within care management systems to ensure accuracy of reporting and progress toward business objectives
Design and propose solutions to enhance clinical pharmacy intervention delivery processes, including system configurations and workflow optimizations
Assist in the implementation of solutions through collaboration with the Clinical Pharmacy Leadership team (Managers and Senior Director) for education and training opportunities
Perform timely data analysis, including predictive modeling, to support decision-making and identify trends in pharmacy STAR quality measures performance and claims data
Develop and maintain reports, audit tools, and dashboards to monitor various teams’ performance
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of clinical pharmacy and reporting solutions
Ensure that all tasks are completed timely, documented accurately, and in accordance with regulations (including HIPAA) and organizational standards
Attend staff meetings and provide input into current trends, process evaluation, and quality improvement
Assist with other pharmacy departmental initiatives as they become available

Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including handling medium to large data set
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, List, SharePoint, Teams) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
Excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to follow-through
High degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, resilient and focused work ethic, with adaptability to handle frequent changes with a positive attitude
Self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively either independently or as part of a team
Knowledge of project management principles
Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, required
A minimum of 2 years of experience in business/data analysis, preferably in pharmacy claims or STAR quality measures
eClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience preferred
A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions in a matrixed organization
