About the role

  • The Business Analyst - Developer serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by analyzing business requirements, preparing project documentation, designing solutions, and developing business applications that support organizational objectives. This role combines business analysis expertise with technical development capabilities to deliver effective digital solutions that drive business process improvements and support organizational goals.

What you will do:

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain key project documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and Technical Specification Documents (TSD)
  • Analyze and document current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") business processes
  • Ensure business, functional, and technical requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and obtain stakeholder approval for requirements and design documentation
  • Design business and technical solutions that address stakeholder needs and organizational objectives
  • Assist in application development, coding, and implementation activities when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and deployment activities
  • Support change management and application deployment processes

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • 4–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Application Developer, or hybrid Business Analyst-Developer
  • Proven experience creating and managing BRD, FSD, and TSD documentation
  • Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and SQL scripting
  • Experience with Mendix is an advantage but not required
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience in project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and implementation activities
  • Understanding of change management and deployment processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN is an advantage
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow as a Business Analyst - Developer
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
