Our company continues to deliver record sales led by a talented team and a commitment to “Fun Served Here”.</div><h2>REMOTE POSITION with 30% Travel</h2> <h2>POSITION SUMMARY:</h2> The Business Analyst (BA), JDE Financials/ Distribution, Functional/ Technical, is responsible for supporting and enhancing the daily operations of our Finance and Distribution processes in JD Edwards (JDE).  This person will work closely with the finance and distribution teams to collect business requirements, review and approve functional and technical design changes, write orchestrations, and recommend and implement JDE solutions.  As part of the implementation process, the BA will also lead and participate in ERP projects.  Daily duties will include problem-solving and support for business teams, requiring a high level of customer service, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities. <h2>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provides support for the integration and implementation of JDE processes in all Finance and Distribution modules.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participates in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Continuously gains an understanding of the customers' operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users, IT business analysts, and programmers.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Keeps abreast of new JDE releases and applications and presents opportunities for improvement to the business units and management.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Determines functional requirements and recommends workable JDE solutions to business operations, management, and IT staff.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Works cross-functionally with other business analysts to provide fully integrated JDE solutions.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develops new or modifies existing software configurations to satisfy ongoing business needs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participates in the preparation of business cases, including project charters, cost justifications, solution documentation, third party package selection recommendations, and other documents as needed.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develops reports from the system as needed.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assists other business analysts and programmers in the development and implementation of new processes and enhancements.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitors financial operations and functionality and makes recommendations for fixes and improvements.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Works closely with business teams to improve master data and daily operations.</li> </ul> User Support and Training <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provides on-site and remote end-user training as needed for new processes and enhancements.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provides one-on-one or small group refresher/intermediate/advanced training as required by users.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responds to Help Desk requests in a timely fashion.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for monitoring the integrity of the JD Edwards system.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Works with users to enhance and/or develop new systems and techniques to more efficiently do their job, including initiating or facilitating kaizen events.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum five (5) years of JDE configuration and project experience with a focus in financials</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
