Business Process Mapping Analyst
Overview
Context of role:
The Business Process Mapping Analyst will report into the Business Process Manager within the Risk department, collaborating to run and lead interviews and workshops with various key stakeholders across EMEA to create, customise and enrich process documentation. This role ensures that business processes are consistently documented and assessed for incremental improvement and transformational opportunities. The role also includes management of the current Business process suite, Business process Change cycle and facilitation of the Business process Change board. The BPMA will ensure consistency to process mapping standards while remaining aligned to our AI transformation strategy. This role requires an individual with experience in a Process mapping using the BPMN 2.0 modelling standard. The role will also support process related issues/challenges, process optimisation opportunities and support on any key process improvement projects.

Skills:
Professional learning or expertise that will be required to succeed in the role
- Experience in Processing mapping using the Business Process management and Notation 2.0 modelling standard.
- Ability to interpret written business process descriptions and other supporting documents to comprehensively translate detail into standardised process maps.
- Experience in data collection, analytical capabilities with high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and creates plans to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as you will be working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-Starter who can hit the ground running

Knowledge & Experience:
Technical and or professional information needed to successfully perform the job activities including qualifications
- Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience within a process mapping role.
- Excellent command of the MS Office suite including
- Experience of using common Business process Mapping software.
· Experience of Signavio Process Editor and Collaboration Hub.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Arrange and conduct business process mapping working sessions with Business Partners in order to document existing Business process down to the appropriate level detail (typically Level 4).
- Develop standardised “as-is” process maps using agreed frameworks and tools to translate business pain points into clear, structured problem statements.
- Proactively collaborate with CI and AI teams to ensure every opportunity is evaluated holistically and feed structured inputs into CI improvement backlog and/or AI use case pipeline.
- Ensure that the output of all process related sessions are accurately captured and correctly reflected within the overall process ecosystem.
- Accurately maintain the Business Process management Suite.
- Support Risk function with process Risk and Controls capturing within documented Business Process maps.
- Support the organisation ensuring that business process maps meet external and internal requirements including reflection of legal and compliance obligations.
- Support Business Process Owners with the Business Process change management procedure, capturing changes and facilitating of the Business Process Change Board.
- Support change programmes, process improvement initiatives and business transformation projects as required.
