Business Systems Analyst
Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst supporting the Nuclear Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Meade for the USSTRATCOM customer. NEC partners with stakeholders across the NC3 enterprise to direct and manage NC3 enterprise operations, advocate for and synchronize the fielding of modernized systems, and to define and integrate the next generation of NC3 capabilities. This is a full-time opportunity at Fort Meade.
Responsibilities
Assist in enterprise systems analysis to determine correlations to assist in standards development.
Determine if standard uses of automation could increase enterprise capability.
Identify and analyze user interfaces, system dependencies/interactions, and, as applicable, potential performance increases.
Develop system requirements and program specifications.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must possess a TS at time of application with willingness to obtain SCI eligibility. Education: BS or BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an educational equivalent Years of Experience: 5 years relevant experience Additional Experience: Relevant experience in the following:
- Analyzing and developing computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
- Developing plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
- Analyzing user interfaces, maintaining hardware and software performance tuning, analyzing workload and computer usage, maintaining interfaces with outside systems, analyzing downtimes, analyzing proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
- Defining the problem, and developing system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Experience: NC3 experience a plus but not required
