This role focuses heavily on preparing and approving complex intracompany reconciliations, analyzing data across global subsidiaries, and managing the end-to-end VAT process for Mexico. The successful candidate must possess a sharp analytical mindset to look beyond standard numbers, cross-reference databases to support strategic decision-making, and collaborate closely with local finance teams to drive continuous improvement.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Key Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Month-End &amp; Year-End Closing:</strong> Lead the closing cycle for assigned low and medium complexity entities, preparing financial statements, cash flow networks (CFN), and annual statutory reports.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Intracompany Reconciliations:</strong> Perform, review, and approve detailed balance sheet and transactional reconciliations between Colgate-Palmolive Mexico and global subsidiaries, ensuring timely discrepancy resolution.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis:</strong> Conduct specialized analytical reviews to support accounting closures, focusing on areas such as Other Expenses &amp;
