At GenesisCare, we're passionate about creating better life outcomes for patients around the world. We're looking for a highly organised and detail oriented Clinical Data & Laboratory Coordinator to join our Research team in a part-time capacity.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of clinical research, data management, and laboratory operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of clinical trial data while supporting the day-to-day management of research laboratory activities.
Working alongside experienced research professionals, you'll contribute to groundbreaking clinical trials that help shape the future of cancer care and improve patient outcomes.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage, review, and maintain clinical research data across EDC, EMR, and registry systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely entry of study information.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve data discrepancies and queries.
- Support study close out activities, database locks, monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
- Coordinate laboratory procedures alongside Clinical Research Coordinators.
- Oversee specimen processing, storage, inventory management, and shipment activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, documentation, and inspection readiness.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and research teams to support successful trial delivery.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Experience in clinical research, data management, laboratory coordination, or healthcare administration.
- Experience working with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality.
- An understanding of medical terminology, privacy legislation, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work across locations when required.
