COBOL Mainframe Senior Analyst

Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.

Summary: As a Packaged Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or Software as a Service applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. Collaboration with various stakeholders and teams is essential to align technical solutions with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of application updates. - Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical capabilities and foster a collaborative work environment. - Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement to maintain system reliability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in COBOL. - Strong understanding of legacy system integration and maintenance. - Experience with application configuration and release management processes. - Familiarity with APIs and low-code platforms to extend application functionality. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues efficiently. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices in packaged application environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
