DEPARTMENT: F&B  REPORTS TO: F&B Lead  STATUS: Non-exempt    POSITION SUMMARY:    The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service in Coury Hospitality bars, lounges, and outlets. This role ensures guests receive professional, friendly, and efficient experience while adhering to the property’s service standards, safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Cocktail Server works closely with bartenders, food runners, and outlet management to deliver seamless service and enhance guest satisfaction.    PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:  Greet guests promptly and professionally, providing menus and information on beverage offerings.  Take and deliver cocktail and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including bar stations, service areas, and guest seating areas.  Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages, cocktails, and pairings.  Check identification to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all laws and regulations.  Collaborate with bartenders and team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.  Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.  Process payments accurately and maintain cash handling procedures when applicable.  Assist with setup, restocking, and closing of the bar or outlet as required.  Participate in team meetings and training to maintain service excellence and product knowledge.  Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.  Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Previous experience in cocktail or beverage service preferred but not required; training will be provided.  Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service techniques preferred.  Excellent customer service and communication skills.  Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.  Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages per local regulations.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.  Ability to carry trays, glasses, and beverages up to 25 pounds.  Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.  Ability to work in a bar or lounge environment, including exposure to heat and crowded conditions.  Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
