Commercial Operations Analyst
Job Description
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will support the Commercial Operations team by ensuring best practice usage across our CRM tools, conducting data analysis, including the development of reports and dashboards, and helping streamline sales processes. You will also support sales compensation processes, including quota tracking, incentive analysis and the production of clear, accurate performance data for sales leaders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our sales organisation has the tools and information needed to succeed.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Assist in maintaining and improving sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline analysis.
- Define and implement best practices in the usage of Salesforce for data capture and analysis.
- Support the creation and evolution of dashboards and KPIs for sales leaders.
- Help identify innovation opportunities across our technology stack and support wider adoption efforts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure data accuracy and process alignment.
- Contribute to projects such as territory mapping, quota tracking, and incentive analysis.
- Support sales compensation processes, including maintaining accurate quota and target data, assisting with commission and incentive reporting, and helping analyse the effectiveness of compensation plans.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging technology to drive business outcomes. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and be ready to grow your skills in sales operations, data and analytics. What you will bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
- Comfortable working with data and translating findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools
- Understanding of Salesforce.
- Awareness of sales compensation, quota setting or incentive reporting processes would be beneficial.
