JOB TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst/ Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA)
DIVISION: Community Living
REPORTS TO: Lead BCBAĀ
SUPERVISES: RBTs, Behavior SpecialistsĀ
EXEMPTION STATUS: ExemptĀ
POSITION SUMMARY: The BCBA/LBA is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all behavioral and skill acquisition programming within Community Living residential settings.
This role ensures that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services are clinically sound, consistently implemented, and aligned with BACB standards, Missouri LBA regulations, and BHA policies.
The BCBA/LBA operates within a residential service delivery model, where interventions are implemented primarily by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As such, this role has a critical responsibility for staff training, coaching, and ensuring fidelity of implementation across all environments and shifts.
The BCBA/LBA is accountable for ensuring that individuals receive effective, data-driven, and person-centered behavioral supports that improve safety, independence, and quality of life.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
⢠Masterās or Doctoral degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related fieldĀ
⢠Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) requiredĀ
⢠Active state licensure (MO and/or KS as applicable)Ā
⢠Completion of BACB 8-hour supervision trainingĀ
⢠Minimum 2 years experience in ABA servicesĀ
⢠Experience in residential or intensive behavioral settings preferred

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)Ā
⢠Develop and update BSPs and skill acquisition programsĀ
⢠Analyze behavioral data and adjust programming accordinglyĀ
⢠Ensure interventions are evidence-based and effectiveĀ
⢠Monitor client progress and outcomesĀ
⢠Participate in crisis response planning and support
STAFF TRAINING & FIDELITYĀ
⢠Train DSPs and RBTs on BSP implementation, prompting, reinforcement, and behavior reduction strategiesĀ
⢠Provide hands-on modeling and coaching within residential environmentsĀ
⢠Ensure staff competency in implementing programmingĀ
⢠Conduct fidelity checks and provide corrective feedbackĀ
⢠Develop training materials and support systemsĀ
⢠Ensure consistency of implementation across all shifts and staffĀ
BACB & MO LBA COMPLIANCE
⢠Provide supervision to RBTs and other staff per BACB requirementsĀ
⢠Ensure supervision requirements (e.g., 5% RBT supervision) are metĀ
⢠Maintain all documentation required by BACB and MO LBAĀ
⢠Adhere to BACB Ethics CodeĀ
⢠Ensure all services are within scope of competenceĀ
⢠Maintain active certification and licensureĀ
QUALITY ASSURANCE & DATA OVERSIGHT
⢠Monitor clinical outcomes and performance metricsĀ
⢠Identify trends and implement improvementsĀ
⢠Ensure accurate and timely data collectionĀ
⢠Conduct program reviews and auditsĀ
⢠Participate in incident review and analysis
On-Call & 24/7 LeadershipĀ
⢠Participate in on-call rotation and provide decisive leadership during crises

ACCOUNTABILITY & IMPACT
The BCBA/LBA is directly accountable for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of behavioral services within Community Living.
This role is responsible for ensuring:

Failure to meet these expectations may result in corrective action, as clinical performance directly impacts safety, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Starting Salary: Our compensation is competitive within the market. The starting rate for this position begins at $84.610.03 annually, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications.
