CW Financial Services LLC ("CW") is a premier and unique, full-service real-estate firm providing solutions to institutional clients across Commercial Real Estate Finance.

This position will office at CW's headquarters in Washington, D.C., and is a part of the resource pool of CWCapital Asset Management (CWCAM), gaining exposure to commercial real estate structured finance across the CMBS industry, Agency multifamily finance, and other commercial loan products. The Compliance Analyst will ensure that CWCAM is producing timely and accurate deliverables relating to the management and resolution of non-performing commercial real estate loans and REO assets across a variety of asset classes, including but not limited to multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and other specialized asset types. The Compliance Analyst will also be a member of CWCAM's Resource Pool, with opportunities to perform credit analyses on pools of commercial mortgage-backed securities, with exposure to both agency and non-agency debt as well as performing and non-performing loan matters.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Working in CW's proprietary RealINSIGHT software environment, oversee the ordering, coordination, and finalization of third-party due diligence reports, including appraisals, property inspections, environmental assessments, and property condition reports.
  • Manage the end-to-end tracking of tax bills and tax payments for CWCAM's specially serviced loan and REO portfolio ensuring accurate uploading into CW's systems, timely payment in accordance with compliance requirements, and coordination with master servicing partners and tax appeal vendors.
  • Manage ongoing processes critical to CWCAM's workflows in including processing special servicing transfers, consent request intake, and managing CW's CREFC resolution report process, ensuring the timely completion and delivery to relevant stakeholders of completed materials.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across CW's loan and REO portfolio.
  • Partner with the CWCAM's compliance leadership to ensure that asset managers meet internal and external compliance requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct asset valuations through in-depth market research, including comparable property and industry analysis, leveraging broker relationships, third-party data platforms, independent investigation, and a solid understanding of capital markets.
  • Perform on-site property inspections and management interviews across the United States.
  • Contribute to the resolution of defaulted loans and REO assets by reviewing broker opinions of value, offering memoranda, appraisals, and other due diligence materials; present conclusions to internal credit committees.
  • Complete performing loan deliverables as consents request reviews and portfolio surveillance.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations and updates to CW's client base through written reports and direct interactions.
  • Assist with ad hoc research projects as a member of the Resource Pool.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and persuasive writing abilities, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proven experience managing multiple projects at a given time.
  • Ability to effectively present complex information to diverse stakeholders, including those unfamiliar with specific markets.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the initiative to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in commercial real estate finance, structured finance, project management, or asset management across multiple property types.
  • Proven understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, valuation methods, and terminology.

The base salary range for this role is provided in accordance with local regulations, but salary represents just one component of the total compensation package. Additional elements such as bonuses, overtime, deferred cash (where applicable), benefits, perks, and company contributions to 401(k) plans-often result in total compensation significantly exceeding the base salary. Compensation is influenced by individual performance, tenure, experience, geographic location, business unit needs, company performance, and market conditions.
