About the Role
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to work on topics related to Prudential regulation (including integrated risk management), treasury, governance, and accounting regulation (including regulatory reporting).
The role requires working and interfacing with multiple partners and teams (mostly in Brazil, but also across other geographies), assessing new regulations, and supporting business areas by providing regulatory advice on products and procedures, participating in discussions to define action plans to comply with regulatory requirements, and reporting regulatory risks through the established governance processes.
You’ll be Responsible for
Daily monitoring of newly issued regulations and tracking implementation status through to completion;
Coordinating regulator requests across multiple stakeholders and ensuring the quality and consistency of information provided to the regulator;
Assessing regulations related to the role’s key topics, engaging in projects when needed, and identifying impacts where applicable;
Supporting both the Compliance team across its various demands and the business areas by providing regulatory advisory support;
Assessing new products through the lens of the key topics when needed, identifying potential risks and implementation/adaptation requirements across the company and different areas;
Recording and tracking action plans to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines, and preparing presentations or reports to provide visibility to relevant stakeholders;
Supporting the review of regulatory policies within the covered topics, ensuring regulatory adherence and alignment with minimum regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For Someone Who Has
+4 years of experience in similar positions.
Knowledge of Central Bank regulation, especially Prudential regulation, Integrated Risk Management, governance, and accounting regulation (mandatory)
Knowledge of the main products currently offered by Nubank (Credit Card, lending, Pix, crypto, etc.) -Plus.
Proven experience requiring ability to assess new rules in depth, summarize them, and translate requirements and business impacts into clear, simple language (or a critical mindset to help surface them).
Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
Analytical profile and proficiency in using AI.
Proven experience working autonomously.
Hungry, eager to make a difference, and able to learn quickly.
Willing to help elevate the function and make an impact.
