What you’ll own
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements applicable to business
Perform Regulatory Compliance Assessments and Compliance Audits
Perfrom regulatory horizon scanning and review documentation such as Bank of Greece Acts, EU Directives and Guidelines, Scheme mandates etc.
Assessment of the validity of reports received regarding suspected money laundering or terrorist financing by merchants serviced by the Company
Provide due diligence for all new and existing partners. This is a full process that partners need to adhere to and requires documentation, investigation, submission of documents, coordinating calls and ensure full compliance.
Support of internal and external audits
Support coordination locally to ensure findings are remediated
Ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met and work with finance and IT to ensure the right statistics are created and reported correctly
Advise the Business on applicable regulatory requirements. Engage with the business and manage their queries and requests on regulatory matters.
Collate Compliance Management information on regular and ad hoc basis
Develop company policies and procedures on compliance matters
Maintain compliance analysis models to improve efficiency and effectiveness of company systems
Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation.
Perform transaction monitoring and recommend compliance processes for changing transaction patterns and trends
Support review documentation from and develop an expertise in at least 1 or more payment networks and/or other regulatory bodies (i.e. Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, etc.) to identify required business and system updates. Recommends routine and occasionally non-routine approaches and/or solutions that are compliant with applicable regulations while balancing proper investment pursuant to overall corporate, division and department goals. Demonstrates a general knowledge of processing platforms, downstream services/products and potential client impacts to processes and business operations while documenting business compliance requirements.
Administer the compliance work stream of at least 1 or more initiatives/projects to ensure adherence to department, division, and corporate disciplines and methodologies while maintaining compliance to reporting standards/requirements and proper usage of escalation. Works in close liaison with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure basic technical solutions correctly encapsulate the identified compliance/business requirements.
Collaborate with the internal Product team to determine the application of legal/regulatory requirements and ensure optional/user requirements support strategic direction while preserving compliance as they pertain to existing basic to moderately complex products.
Continue to build technical acumen to provide compliance guidance and feedback for proposed technical solutions.

What you’ll bring
University Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable
2+ years of professional experience in a compliance or audit role, preferably in the payment or financial industry
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent command of the Greek/ English language (both written and verbally)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, additional language skills are an advantage
Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills
Professional attitude and strong personal ethics
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
