Continuous Improvement Analyst

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Responsible for leading projects which optimize cost, quality, and schedule requirements within the Brooks Manufacturing sites.

  • Assess and deploy Continuous Improvement (CI) development plans and set goals, responsibilities, and align with KPI targets with site business strategy.

  • Identify, scope, and implement CI projects; responsibilities include project selection, scope and overall assignment, launch, prioritization tracking and deliverables.

  • Work with leaders, engineers, and operators to coach CI methodologies.

  • Work with Production Technicians to ensure they are trained and assist them as they improve manufacturing efficiencies utilizing best practice CI tools/techniques.

  • Focus on lean methodologies to reduce waste through lean methodologies including, 5S, process flow mapping, data analysis, and production line design.

  • Drive small rapid improvements through Technician feedback, constantly iterating on experiments to drive the best solution.

  • Key Deliverables include:

  • Successful outcomes should include measurable results in reduction in production cycle times, decreased waste (7 methods of waste in LEAN), increased visibility into KPIs and an improvement in 3 key categories in manufacturing of Safety, Quality, and Output.

  • Additional successful outcomes will be difficult to measure and qualitative in nature, such as increased organization, identification of issues for longer term projects, and coaching/training technicians.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced assembly environment.

  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, and Output metrics.

  • Working knowledge of LEAN methodologies including 5S and Waste Elimination methodologies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Preferred qualifications include:

  • Engineering related Degree.

  • Experience with Power Automate.

  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent) to support facility layouts, workstation optimization, tooling design, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience within semiconductor, automation, high-tech manufacturing, or other regulated production environments.

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics, including OEE, First Pass Yield (FPY), cycle time, throughput, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization.

  • Exposure to process automation, digital transformation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement Certification.

  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority through collaboration, data, and relationship building.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $57,494.85 USD to $77,787.15 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
