We invite you to use your skills with us and contribute to something meaningful and enduring. ## The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Contract Governance & Performance Analyst to join our Contract Management team in Sudbury. This is a permanent position covered under the Collective Agreement between Vale and the Local 2020-05 United Steelworkers. The Contract Governance & Performance Analyst leads the standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of contract management processes, tools, and performance measurement practices. This analytical role requires strong technical proficiency and critical thinking to develop governance frameworks, reporting solutions, and performance insights that support contract oversight, decision-making, and business value creation. Through advanced data analysis and reporting, the Analyst designs measurement systems, identifies trends, risks, and opportunities, and drives data integrity and performance excellence. Working with cross-functional stakeholders, the Analyst streamlines commercial processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and consistency across Ontario Operations and, where applicable, Vale Base Metals operations in Canada. #### Additionally, in this position you will: * Lead the standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of contract management processes, controls, and best practices to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective commercial outcomes. * Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and performance measurement systems, applying data validation and analytics to provide actionable business insights and support decision-making. * Analyze contract and commercial performance to identify trends, risks, variances, and opportunities, translating findings into recommendations that maximize business value. * Leverage Power Platform, SharePoint, and other technologies to automate reporting, optimize commercial processes, and improve efficiency, governance, and data accessibility. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline processes, and support effective performance management. * Implement and monitor governance processes, controls, compliance reviews, audits, and root-cause investigations to strengthen data integrity, reporting accuracy, and overall business performance. ## What We Offer You * Competitive compensation including a variable annual incentive plan * Participation in a competitive Defined Contribution Pension package * Comprehensive benefits package (company paid core coverage, health and dental coverage, flex accounts, disability plans and optional insurances) * Leave for all of life’s reasons (vacation, personal, sick, parental) * Work culture dedicated to safety, diversity & inclusion, and career growth * Employee Family Assistance Program * Virtual Healthcare online * Online training and career development opportunities ## About You Education: * Undergraduate degree Commerce, Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. * Lean Six Sigma certification, continuous improvement training, or other process optimization credentials are considered assets. Experience implementing, administering, and/or auditing ISO Quality Management Systems is also considered an asset. Experience: * Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role, or 5+ years of experience in Business Administration, Cost Control, or Process Control role. * Extensive proficiency in Power BI development, SAP, BusinessObjects reporting. Skills: * Proficiency in Power BI development is required, including dashboard creation, data modeling, KPI development, performance measurement, and data visualization. * Experience with automation and development tools, such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Excel Macros, and other coding or scripting applications, is required. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel are required, as is working knowledge of SAP and experience with BusinessObjects or similar business intelligence and reporting tools. * Ability to develop reporting solutions and performance metrics that transform complex data into meaningful business insights. ## Why Sudbury Greater Sudbury is a vibrant city in northeastern Ontario, renowned for its rich mining history and significant role in Canada's mineral production.
