Cork, Ireland | Business Data Technician
Job Purpose

As a Business Data Technician, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing and validating information using web-based research and processing business applications.
Job Overview
On a given day, your work might include:
- Reviewing partner applications and account details, validating integrations, and providing first-level support for partner-facing technical inquiries.
- Analyzing information and issues to bring them to resolution through web research, data analysis, and critical thinking.
- Applying critical thinking to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of improvement.
- Performing web-based research to evaluate and validate data quality.
- Contributing to testing new features, platform updates, and software usability improvements, documenting and reporting findings.
- Performing root cause analysis of identified issues and escalating them to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Maintaining and updating internal support documentation as products, tools, and processes evolve.
- Participating in meetings, capturing notes, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-up.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and improve operational processes.
- Independently managing routine partner support cases and onboarding conversations following onboarding and training.
Candidates must:
- Be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Excellent English communication skills and knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
- Able to work on a full-time basis under a hybrid modality in Cork, Ireland.
An ideal Business Data Technician would be:
- Detail-oriented
- Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS.
- Able to work with large datasets, identify patterns and trends and draw conclusions to recommend actions.
- Able to adapt to working with large data sets identifying patterns.
- Skilled at web research and web-based maps applications.
- Comfortable working independently, as well as in small and large cross-functional teams.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with spreadsheets.
- Experience with database systems.
- Familiarity with web-based map applications.
- Experience in data analysis.
- Experience with social media sites.
- University Degree in Business Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, other technical degrees, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
More information:
- Specified Purpose Contract with possibility of extension (with 3-months’ probation period).
- Hybrid and full-time position in Cork, Ireland.
