Position: The Corporate Communications Associate has two major areas of work: You will drive the flawless execution and evolution of the internal communications and engagement strategy in all Benelux and GRoW locations (5 HQs and 5 plants) and you will be the overall support on the ground in the Netherlands anchor market on external Corporate Affairs activations. You will lead the Internal Corporate Comms agenda as well as the Social Impact agenda for DACH and Italy, and you will be responsible for the Marketing approvals of all brand campaigns in the DACH and Italy markets, while providing overall support to the DACH & Italy Comms manager on pep+, crisis and change communications. Responsibilities The new WE Org Structure and consumer centric business focus requires adaption of this global function role to serve the overall business optimally. The objectives have changed from BU NE to OU WE with market unit Benelux (Belgium and anchor market Netherlands), and market unit GRoW (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Nordics). Drive Internal Comms (Employee communications and engagement) in all Benelux and GRoW locations (5 HQs and 5 plants), organize Newsbeats, WE events in the two market units, PEC/VIP visits, and be the Comms rep in the annual Kick-Off events. Develop an engaging frontline employee comms and engagement strategy based on Smiles and linked to HQs in the two market units that can easily be lifted and shifted throughout OU WE. Support the manager in the Netherlands anchor market with support on external CA activations (interviews, speaking opportunities, social impact support that leads to reputation building). Lead the Internal Corporate Comms agenda in DACH and Italy (PEPNews, Executive Comms, Screens, Intranet), providing innovative AI based solutions. Lead the Social Impact agenda for DACH and Italy, and be an overall support to the manager and Europe Social Impact lead and to the BNL Social Impact lead on stakeholder events organization in anchor market NL. Responsible for Marketing approvals of all brand campaigns in the DACH and Italy markets. Support the DACH & Italy Comms manager on pep+, crisis and change communications. Qualifications German native speaker, fluent in English, some basic knowledge of Dutch and Italian is a pre; Located in anchor market the Netherlands; Minimum of 10 years of comparable experience (ideally in DACH or NL) in a multi-national company, industry body or PR agency (preferred); Master or Bachelor’s degree in Communications or other relevant area of study; Project management experience; Dynamic, flexible, proactive, analytical, ability to multi-task, deliver against tight deadlines; Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PPT, Excel); digitally and AI savvy. Social networker to build strong internal and external networks High awareness of societal, political and media trends affecting the food and beverage/consumer goods sector Strong inter-cultural awareness to work constructively within different cultural and language areas, both at HQ as well as frontline level, and with peers in West Europe OU and beyond; Highly organized and execution-driven, able to see projects from concept through to completion; Strong inter-personal and collaborative skills – ability to work constructively to get results – both with internal and external stakeholders Good general business knowledge and understanding of how the Comms function can advance our overall business agenda; Flexible and adaptable to change; Willingness to travel (MU HQs and plants)
