Essential to achieving our commitment to safe and quality water is our Strategic Investment Management team who are responsible for defining and implementing an industry leading asset management approach and developing forward investment plans with a value of £6.5bn.
To help the Strategic Investment Management team with these aims and objectives, we have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Intelligence Analyst to join us on a full-time basis, based out of our Peterborough office.
What will you be doing?
The Cost Intelligence Analyst role is a great opportunity for a professional who is looking to thrive in an open and challenging environment. Focused on ensuring that service providers provide accurate and timely capital and operational cost data, in addition you will support the Cost Engineers in the development of cost relationships to ensure Total Expenditure (TOTEX) estimates are provided for all activities.
This role will see you become an expert on cost collection systems, cost assessment of constructions of assets, benchmarking and support to estimations whilst building strong relationships internally and externally to deliver a value-added service. You will have the support and opportunity to growth your knowledge within the Water Industry processes and its associated construction activities and asset types.
What does it take to be a Cost Intelligence Analyst?
Educated to degree level or working at an equivalent level
Proven experience of customer service and support
Demonstrable experience in IT systems eg Windows Operating Systems
Well-developed stakeholder management skills
An understanding of asset management capabilities, preferably within the water industry, would be desirable
