Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
The Credentialing Analyst is responsible for executing end-to-end client onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessments for new and existing customers. This role ensures compliance with Philippine regulatory requirements as well as international standards, while supporting global markets.
The analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization against fraud, misuse, and regulatory risk by verifying business legitimacy, assessing permissible use, and determining credentialing outcomes aligned with internal policies and risk frameworks.
- Conduct detailed due diligence on new and existing clients, including complex investigations.
- Perform KYC checks, sanctions screening, and risk assessments using internal and third-party tools (e.g., D&B).
- Validate business legitimacy and assess permissible use of services in line with Philippine regulations and global standards.
- Verify regulatory compliance across Philippine agencies (e.g., SEC, DTI, BIR) and international jurisdictions.
- Manage the full onboarding lifecycle from application to credential approval and product setup.
- Ensure client access aligns with contractual agreements and approved use.
- Make independent decisions on application approvals or declines based on risk and compliance criteria.
- Manage existing customer updates, including additional product requests.
- Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to gather documentation and drive outcomes.
- Engage external stakeholders such as business owners and regulatory bodies.
- Provide guidance on credentialing policies and processes to internal teams.
- Meet defined SLAs, turnaround times, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.
- Support QA processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental projects and process enhancements.
- Manage multiple cases in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Exercise independent judgment in decision-making.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 3+ years’ experience in Credentialing role, or a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Philippine regulatory frameworks (SEC, DTI, AMLA) is advantageous.
- Effective time management skills demonstrated through ability to work under limited supervision.
- The individual must display business maturity and effective communication skills.
- Must have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software such as Salesforce.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with different departments within the business.
- Work across different systems and tools.
- Mature and professional communication skills both written and verbal
