We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst for our Japanese Corporate Banking Division in DĂźsseldorf.

Please not that this role is a fixed term contract.

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • Conducting rating applications of Japanese corporate credit customers through financial analysis

  • Preparing  credit  applications  of  Japanese  corporate  customers  in  case  of  renewal, change or set-up of credit facilities

Your impact at MUFG

  • Making  financial  analysis  of  credit  customers  in  order  to  assign  them  correct  credit ratings as defined in the bank’s rating procedure.

  • Preparing credit applications (renewal, change or setup of credit facilities) in cooperation with relationship managers in order to help providing the customers with required credit facilities, which are source of profit of the bank

  • Conducting sector analysis for clients positioning in competitive environment

  • Due data control: Monitoring of expiring borrower ratings and credit applications

  • Contact person for external or internal auditors

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

  • Preferred is a university degree in Economics or Science but also an apprenticeship in a bank with  experience in a similar role is interesting

  • Previous experience in a similar position is a plus but not a must

  • Experience in handling rating applications and credit applications is required

  • Familiarity in handling related in-house systems (GCARS, OVS, FiBridge, ZEUS, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance and accounting

  • Confident handling of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Power-point)

  • Business fluent in German and English language, Japanese language skills on every level would be a plus
