GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs assigned independent quality review activities, including testing and data quality assessment, in support of the wholesale bank, private bank, business loan center, and credit risk. Communicates review results with business partners to support issue resolution, and contributes to aggregated team-level reporting provided to senior and executive management
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures as defined. Demonstrates a commitment to doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and supports a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, contributes to the consistent identification, assessment, documentation and escalation of risks in accordance with established procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute assigned quality review assessments and testing of key commercial credit processes (e.g., probability of default ratings) to support compliance with policy and data quality standards.
- Complete reviews on lower-complexity credits and data sets in accordance with established methodologies, procedures and testing plans.
- Manage execution of multiple assigned reviews, ensuring timely completion and high quality results, escalating issues as needed.
- Document review results clearly and accurately, and communicate findings to the appropriate parties to support issue resolution.
- Support senior staff in execution of testing plans and ongoing review processes.
- Build effective working relationships with internal partners, including, among others, relationship managers, portfolio managers, and credit officers, as required for assigned reviews.
- Participate in training, process documentation, and special projects as needed to support team objectives.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics, or a related field or equivalent related experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in credit analysis, quality review, loan review, Central Credit Utility, or a related function; banking industry experience preferred.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products; ability and willingness to learn mainframe applications and automated data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and execute tasks independently within established procedures in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to apply logical and critical thinking when reviewing information and identifying issues.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
