The Opportunity

We’re building a new enterprise CRM capability for Westpac, anchored in Microsoft Dynamics and supported by strong data foundations, integrations, analytics and insights.

We’re looking for CRM Product Owners to join a new team that will shape the vision, roadmap and delivery priorities across this ecosystem. Each Product Owner will have a clear focus area, whether that is core CRM platform capability, data foundations and integrations, or analytics and insights.

This is an opportunity to help build a capability from the ground up. You’ll work across Product, Technology, Architecture, Data, Risk and frontline teams to deliver CRM capabilities that improve relationship management, customer understanding, banker productivity and business performance.

What’s in it for you?

At Westpac Group, you’ll be empowered to challenge conventional thinking, work with talented colleagues and help deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to influence enterprise CRM capabilities, modern platforms, data foundations, integrations, analytics and insights while building your career within one of Australia’s leading financial institutions.

Ingredients for Success

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Data Product Owner, Delivery Lead or similar role owning enterprise platforms, digital products, data products or business capabilities.
  • Understanding of CRM platforms, enterprise technology ecosystems, data platforms, integration patterns or analytics capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data integration patterns including APIs, events, microservices, canonical models and data contracts.
  • Experience defining requirements, managing backlogs and prioritising delivery outcomes within Agile environments.
  • Ability to work within enterprise governance, risk, architecture and data quality frameworks to deliver safe, scalable and well-controlled CRM outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, technology, architecture, risk and delivery teams.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or similar enterprise solutions, including adjacent data, integration or analytics capabilities.
  • Banking, institutional banking or regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the CRM product vision, strategy, roadmap and success measures for one or more CRM capability areas.
  • Discover, define and prioritise CRM requirements across business processes, platform capabilities, data, integrations and insights.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality CRM capabilities across Dynamics, data, integrations, analytics and insights.
  • Strengthening governance, controls, data quality and platform integrity across the CRM ecosystem.
  • Ensure CRM capabilities align with enterprise architecture, security, risk and authorised sources of truth.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops and stakeholder forums.
  • Manage dependencies, risks and delivery outcomes across CRM, Data and Technology teams.
  • Shape the long-term CRM roadmap and identify opportunities for simplification, reuse, automation and innovation.

We’re a collaborative team focused on building CRM capabilities that improve customer outcomes, banker experience and operational performance. We encourage diverse thinking, continuous learning and flexible ways of working. We want our people to bring their authentic selves to work and thrive in an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute and succeed.
