Location: Fareham, UK – moving to our new facility in Nursling, Southampton mid-September 2026 

GLS: P01

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)

Job Summary

As Customer Data Administrator, you’ll coordinate and execute all product data change activities required to support our largest customers transition through MDR (Medical Device Regulation) requirements. 

This role is heavy data entry and ensures that the product master data and operational attributes are prepared, validated, and delivered accurately and on time to the customer. Effective delivery is critical to ensure there is no impact to revenue, service performance or the customer experience.

 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

 

1. Data Change Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end process for preparing and submitting customer-required data changes (product setup, attributes, etc.).
  • Validate the accuracy, completeness, and formatting of all data prior to customer submission.
  • Maintain version control, audit trails, and status tracking for all data change requests.

2. Customer Coordination

  • Serve as the main operational point of contact for the customer’s Master data teams regarding data changes.
  • Understand customer-specific data requirements, templates, rules, and governance.
  • Proactively communicate timelines, risks, and updates to both internal teams and the customer.

3. Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Identify potential issues that could prevent orders from being placed (e.g., missing data, incorrect formatting, conflicting attributes).
  • Escalate and resolve data discrepancies quickly through collaboration across internal teams (Master data, Supply Chain, Customer Operations).
  • Monitor post-implementation data to ensure changes have been correctly applied.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Master data team, Supply Chain, Operations, customer services and EDI teams to gather and validate required data inputs /changes.
  • Align with commercial and operational stakeholders to meet business and customer deadlines.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend and document process improvements to reduce errors and accelerate data turnaround.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Experience

  • Strong background in master data management, customer operations, or product data administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail; able to identify inconsistencies and prevent downstream issues.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong comfort working with large datasets.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and fast-changing requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
