Purpose of the Role / Role Summary

The Cyber & Infrastructure Technology Senior Analyst drives and contributes to the secure, stable, and compliant operation of Digital and Automation infrastructure within the manufacturing environment. The role focuses on coordinating and executing cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure activities in line with established standards and governance to protect critical digital assets and ensure reliable plant operations.

The Team Member performs day‑to‑day operations, lifecycle, and support activities across cybersecurity and network domains ensuring resilient, secure, and optimized Digital and Automation systems. The role works closely with the Cyber Security & Network Lead, the global Cyber Security Team and cross‑functional partners to support secure infrastructure operations, incident response, and continuous improvement at site level. The Cyber & Infrastructure Technology Senior Analyst provides technical guidance within defined scope and contributes to improving cybersecurity and infrastructure practices, escalating where required.

Role Description

Responsibilities


Governance, Regulations & Standards

  • Execute all work in alignment with applicable quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements; follow established SOPs and governance processes; identify and escalate deviations or risks as required.
  • Support inspections, audits, and assessments by providing accurate documentation, data, and technical input when requested.
  • Coordinate and contribute to cybersecurity regulations and standards application, enhancing deployment and adherence across assigned systems.

Architecture, Controls & Cybersecurity Delivery

  • Execute defined site-level cybersecurity and network activities in accordance with established Digital and Automation architecture, cybersecurity, and network standards.
  • Enhance implementation and effectiveness of approved control strategies and tools to maintain secure and compliant Digital and Automation environments.
  • Contribute to vulnerability remediation activities and improving control effectiveness and risk mitigation approaches.
  • Enhance cybersecurity planning, monitoring, and control tools by providing technical input, execution feedback, and documentation in line with approved strategies and standards.
  • Participate in local or global cybersecurity, infrastructure, and Digital & Automation–related projects as an executing team member.


Operations, Monitoring & Lifecycle

  • Optimize day-to-day Digital and Automation infrastructure operations, including proactive monitoring, incident handling, and issue resolution for assigned systems and network components as well as user management and audit trail reviews.
  • Maintain accurate asset and configuration inventory records for assigned Digital and Automation systems and network components; ensure updates are performed in a timely manner to support lifecycle, cybersecurity, and inspection readiness.
  • Support change management activities for infrastructure and cybersecurity changes, including impact assessments, documentation updates, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Execute and improve software and hardware lifecycle delivery, (e.g. patching, upgrades, and end-of-life tasks) following approved plans and change management processes.
  • Optimize OT & IT infrastructure and architecture execution and infrastructure monitoring practices.

Incident, Crisis & Business Continuity

  • Troubleshoot and support incident, deviation, and recovery activities and escalations to enable secure and return-to-service in accordance to agreed SLAs while maintaining data integrity and validated state control.
  • Support business continuity readiness by helping maintain recovery procedures/playbooks for assigned services and infrastructure and participating in recovery/failover testing or continuity drills as required.
  • Contribute to improving crisis response and business continuity effectiveness.

PANS Support

  • Support PANS-related activities by executing defined monitoring, configuration validation, and data collection tasks, escalating deviations per governance.
  • Execute assigned PANS remediation activities (e.g. configuration corrections, rule updates, device/network changes, or control implementation) in accordance with approved remediation plans, change management processes, and site/governance standards.
  • Sustain and improve PANS operations through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.

Key Attributes, Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network concepts, and OT/IT integration within regulated manufacturing (Digital andAutomation environments).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess impact, troubleshoot effectively, and escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to follow formal change control and documentation/evidence practices in regulated/validated environments.
  • Understands, explores and applies monitoring and troubleshooting methods to identify common network/infrastructure issues and support timely resolution.
  • Drives accountability and ownership for assigned work and delivers reliably within agreed scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Provides guidance and collaborates effectively within the Cyber Security & Network Services team and with cross-functional partners, following defined governance and escalation pathways.
  • Able to support incidents and recovery activities in a structured manner, maintaining clear communication and composure under time pressure.
  • Supports a culture of professionalism, security awareness, continuous improvement, and personal development through day-to-day behaviors.
  • Supports and mentors team members in cybersecurity and infrastructure practices.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Automation, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital and Automation infrastructure, OT/IT environments, network operations, or cybersecurity in an industrial and/or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Practical experience supporting cybersecurity controls, networked systems, or infrastructure within validated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure lifecycle activities (patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, end-of-life) under defined governance processes.
  • Experience working within formal change management, deviation, and incident response processes; exposure to business continuity testing/drills is a plus.
  • Exposure to plant network environments and manufacturing automation systems (OT networking) is preferred.

Relevant training or certifications is preferred (e.g., networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, ITIL, or vendor-specific technical certifications


This Role will support four sites: Wuxi, Dalian, Goa and Jakarta.
