About the Role
The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for creating a secure computing environment that protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. This role supports the team in performing threat and vulnerability assessments, responding to security incidents, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization's security posture across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Leverage security technology and artificial intelligence solutions to identify anomalies, system disruptions, and suspicious events; execute projects contributing to the improvement of the company's security posture and associated workstreams.
- Respond to and resolve reported security incidents; conduct security investigations utilizing industry-standard tools and programs and provide detailed incident documentation for escalations.
- Complete cyber security task work and projects for assigned security systems and platforms within the protection environment; respond to incidents using established in-house response procedures.
- Monitor and administer hardware and software solutions that protect or govern the information needs of the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend new or replacement security and artificial intelligence technologies for development or purchase to strengthen the organization's overall security capabilities.
- Use enterprise-level security standards to perform threat and vulnerability assessments, ensuring systems are protected from known and potential threats.
Role Essentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with demonstrated experience as an IT Security Administrator within private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and products, as well as Unix Operating Systems.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, automation technology, and security tools such as endpoint detection and response, file integrity monitoring, security posture management, and security information and event monitoring.
- Knowledge and understanding of security fundamentals and networking concepts.
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with others using discretion and tact; good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience as an IT Security Administrator within private, public, and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products
- Experience with Unix Operating systems
- Experience with anti-malware, file integrity monitoring, and data loss prevention tools
- COMP TIA Security certification or equivalent experience
- Good collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other teams
- Good oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
