Position Overview

As the Technology and Operations Privacy, Information Protection (IP) Analyst, you will serve our customers and clients with excellence by accurately and efficiently managing system access requests on behalf of management. You will build, promote and protect our brand by working closely with business partners to deliver results that support quality and accuracy, ensuring behaviors, technologies, and business practices do not put Cigna at risk due to Privacy/IP issues or business disruptions. Additionally, you will simplify the customer experience by ensuring interactions and solutions make it easy for our business partners while zealously protecting the information our customers entrust to us.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

       Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles and compliance

       User access provisioning and de-provisioning across applications

       Identity and Access Management fundamentals

       Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. 

       Strong Interpersonal/relationship skills

       Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

 

Required Experience & Education: 

       1-3 Years of Experience

       Experience with access management in an onshore/offshore model. 

 

Desired Experience:  

       Exposure to the Service Now (SNOW) ticketing system 

       Understanding of least-privilege access models

       Exposure to Access Request Systems (e.g. ARS)

Responsibilities

  • Support, influence, and enhance Technology and Operations’ strategy and goals while ensuring compliance with RBAC and IP policies.

  • Submit and track access management request for new hire training classes

  • Perform maintenance on existing roles

  • Provision new access for upskill training

  • Provide technical support for users with security and application access issues

  • Effectively assess and mitigate control environment risks in partnership with operational managers; proactively identify alternative IP and BCP control solutions to solve business issues.

  • Support RBAC and IP-related projects including ARS (Access Request System) implementation.

  • Engage and participate in conversations to remove barriers in support of continuous improvement, provide innovative solutions for the business while driving out complexity, reducing cost and improving service for customers and clients.

  • Promote greater awareness and integration of RBAC and IP compliance into business operations; deliver actionable feedback to Technology and Operations for process and quality improvement.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with matrix partners (i.e., CIP, Privacy, Audit, BCP, IT) to ensure the balance of business needs and partner expectations.

Location & Hours of Work

  • Full-time position, working 45 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

  • Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WFH)
