About This Role:
As a Cyber Security Analyst (Junior), you will play a critical role in protecting our organization’s digital assets and ensuring a secure computing environment. Joining our dynamic Cybersecurity team, you will analyze and interpret security data, including incidents, vulnerabilities, assessments, and remediation efforts, to uncover trends and potential risks. Your work will directly inform risk management strategies, enhance cybersecurity processes, and drive impactful decisions across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with experts in cybersecurity, software engineering, risk management, and data science, all while contributing to an environment that is fast-paced, ever-changing, and innovative. What You’ll Do:
Analyze data from security incidents, vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence, and remediation efforts to identify emerging threats, patterns, and high-risk areas.
Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, analysis processes, and outcomes to ensure transparency and consistency across reporting.
Prepare and deliver reports on security analytics, including risk assessments and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses, to key stakeholders.
Assist in identifying security trends and predicting potential risks to strengthen organizational defenses.
Collaborate with team members to refine security processes, tools, and metrics in response to evolving cyber threats.
Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing cybersecurity frameworks, methodologies, and practices.
Participate in cross-functional discussions to align security initiatives with broader organizational goals.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of remediation efforts and recommend adjustments as needed.
Contribute to the development of security metrics and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skills:
At least 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, or a related field.
Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and risk management practices.
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and common cybersecurity tools/platforms.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting security data to detect patterns and predict emerging threats.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in preparing security metrics, dashboards, and ROI analyses.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages commonly used in cybersecurity analysis, such as Python or PowerShell.
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and platforms.
