The objective of this work is to support the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE). In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the security and smooth operation of critical training systems, working collaboratively with a team to implement a secure environment and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining platform integrity, conducting cybersecurity testing, and deploying secure environments to support training initiatives across multiple security levels. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to collaborate across teams, and a strong commitment to upholding cybersecurity standards in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><u><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to</strong></u>:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Troubleshoot and maintain PCTE systems across various secure environment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Apply system hardening techniques, validate patches, and enforce security baselines for virtual machines</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">(VMs) and supporting services.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage the transfer, synchronization, mapping, and deletion of virtual content and network specifications</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">during training events.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Configure and deploy secure virtual training environments, including RCS nodes and external system</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">connections.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with the Senior Test Officer to plan, execute, and report on cybersecurity test and evaluation</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">activities.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain Cybersecurity Test Plans and ensure findings are integrated into the Agile</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">development cycle.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate with various agencies (DOT&amp;E, ATEC, USCYBERCOM) to validate test coverage and</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">compliance.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Stay up to date with evolving DoD cybersecurity standards, Army regulations, and RMF/NIST controls,</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">applying them to engineering efforts.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the deployment and maintenance of RCS infrastructure, ensuring continuity across JMN and JIOR</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">nodes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform quality assurance checks during system buildouts and approve configurations prior to government</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">acceptance.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with development teams to analyze technical documents and create engineering specifications</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">for cybersecurity and training solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with developers to install, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools, agents, and platform services.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead or assist in managing secure integrations with external systems and databases.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Active Top Secret clearance.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) or more years of equivalent</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or KVM.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in Linux and Windows system hardening and baselining.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and patch management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with cybersecurity tools like Nessus, ACAS, Wireshark, Splunk, and STIGs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile workflows.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><u>Desired Skills:</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Active TS/SCI.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in multi-domain environments with both classified and unclassified systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and testing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size:
