Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer in Orlando, FL. The objective of this work is to support the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE). In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the security and smooth operation of critical training systems, working collaboratively with a team to implement a secure environment and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining platform integrity, conducting cybersecurity testing, and deploying secure environments to support training initiatives across multiple security levels. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to collaborate across teams, and a strong commitment to upholding cybersecurity standards in a dynamic, mission-critical environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Troubleshoot and maintain PCTE systems across various secure environment</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Apply system hardening techniques, validate patches, and enforce security baselines for virtual machines (VMs) and supporting services.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage the transfer, synchronization, mapping, and deletion of virtual content and network specifications during training events.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Configure and deploy secure virtual training environments, including RCS nodes and external system connections.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with the Senior Test Officer to plan, execute, and report on cybersecurity test and evaluation activities.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain Cybersecurity Test Plans and ensure findings are integrated into the Agile development cycle.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate with various agencies (DOT&E, ATEC, USCYBERCOM) to validate test coverage and compliance.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Stay up to date with evolving DoD cybersecurity standards, Army regulations, and RMF/NIST controls, applying them to engineering efforts.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the deployment and maintenance of RCS infrastructure, ensuring continuity across JMN and JIOR nodes.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform quality assurance checks during system buildouts and approve configurations prior to government acceptance.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with development teams to analyze technical documents and create engineering specifications for cybersecurity and training solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with developers to install, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools, agents, and platform services.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead or assist in managing secure integrations with external systems and databases.</li> </ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Active Top Secret clearance.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) or more years of equivalent experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or KVM.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in Linux and Windows system hardening and baselining.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and patch management.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with cybersecurity tools like Nessus, ACAS, Wireshark, Splunk, and STIGs.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile workflows.</li> </ul> Desired Skills: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Active TS/SCI.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent).</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in multi-domain environments with both classified and unclassified systems.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and testing.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"> Equal Opportunity Statement: Seneca Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, genetic information and/or predisposing genetic characteristics, victim of domestic violence status, veteran status, or other protected class status.
