This role is responsible for the design and implementation of business solutions that drive industry, function and technology transformations for Accenture clients, and defines the strategy and actions needed to achieve clients’ business objectives, under the supervision of senior peers. This role analyses current state and designs new processes and solutions leveraging established methods, tools, and assets, as well as implementing programs and interventions that prepare the organization for change

Key accountabilities

• Meets or exceeds agreed relevant chargeability, business development, professional development and recruitment; and market facing metrics

• Builds an understanding of the sales process

• Ability to contribute to the sales process

• Creates high quality product for both internal and external clients

• Builds an understanding of the practice capabilities

• Contributes to the practice communities through sharing experiences

• Applies Accenture offerings and/or best practices to work

• Thoroughly synthesizes, distills and reconciles key findings from complex sets of information to identify trends and potential issues

• Breaks down complex or unfamiliar issues into logical parts

• Recognizes inconsistencies in information and takes appropriate action

• Applies critical thinking, experience and input from others in decision-making

• Acts respectfully and considerately toward others

• Practices active listening to best understand others' expectations, ideas, and concerns

• Proactively builds relationships with others, internally and externally

• Communicates clearly and concisely, using appropriate level of detail, terminology and professional style

• Speaks up to share ideas or request information

• Documents and communicates issues in an organized manner

• Takes initiative to develop own career

• Seeks and responds to developmental feedback

Key levels of experience are:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience

EXPERTISE:

Depth:

• Typically has a minimum of 0 to 1 year of experience doing similar work either at or outside of Accenture

• May be considered a generalist, or working towards becoming a generalist or a SME

Breadth of Knowledge:

• Expected to be knowledgeable about the work performed by their immediate team

DECISION MAKING:

Impact & Risk:

• Typically receives direction and feedback from their supervisor on setting priorities or assigning and managing tasks on a weekly basis

• Expected consequences for mistakes in their work would include missing personal or team deadlines and may be escalated to their direct supervisor

• Involved in risk mitigation decisions for their immediate team

Authority:

• Responsible for decisions made about their own work and may contribute to their immediate team's decisions

SCOPE:

Problem Solving:

• Expected to provide solutions to problems for their immediate team

Complexity:

• Provided guidance and instructions to help them complete their work on a daily or weekly basis

• Expected to complete similar tasks on a daily or weekly basis (not including responding to emails and attending meetings)

Span:

• Breadth of responsibilities extends to their immediate team's projects/work efforts

People Management:

• Typically not expected to supervise

COLLABORATION:

Collaboration Internal:

• Typically has frequent exposure up to ML 7 and expected to do the following in meetings: o Provide status updates about their project-specific contribution

o Answer questions about their project-specific contribution

• Typically has limited exposure to ML 6 - ML 5 and expected to do the following in meetings:

o Mostly observe

Collaboration External:

If in a client-facing role, expected to interact with clients who are either middle or senior management and do the following in meetings:

o Provide status updates about their project-specific contribution

o Answer questions about their project-specific contributions

Salary range: NZD $85,000 – NZD $100,000
Standard Working hours: 37.5 hours/week
