This role is heavily focused on Power Automate–driven automation, supported by Power BI and related Power Platform tools. </p> <p> </p> <p>The intern will help: </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Explore and apply emerging AI-enabled tools and techniques to help streamline analytics, improve insight generation, and reduce manual effort in recurring reporting and analytical workflows. </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Identify manual, repetitive analytical and reporting tasks </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Design and implement Power Automate workflows that standardize and automate insight delivery </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Improve reliability, consistency, and timeliness of recurring analysis </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>PG&amp;E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including skills, education, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. </p> <p> </p> <p>The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.88 to $46.46. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Automation &amp; Insight Development (Supporting Focus)</strong> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Analyze Electric Risk &amp; Compliance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities leveraging AI </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Perform exploratory and ad hoc analysis to support stakeholder requests </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Translate analytical findings into concise insights that can be operationalized or automated </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Support root cause and trend analysis related to compliance performance </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Power Platform Integration</strong> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Use Power BI and Power Query to support automated data preparation and analysis </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Support Power Apps (where applicable) to enable structured data input or workflow initiation </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Partner with analysts to ensure automated outputs align with reporting and insight needs </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Stakeholder Communication</strong> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Work with Electric Risk &amp; Compliance partners to understand where automation adds value </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Explain automated solutions, insights, and outputs to nontechnical stakeholders </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Prepare short summaries or walkthroughs describing what is automated, why it matters, and how outputs are used </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Travel may be required;
