Job Title

Data Analyst (Airlines/Travel Distribution)

Purpose of the role

The Data Analyst supports accurate and reliable customer and provider data management for product activations, data updates, operational support, monitoring, and investigations. The role contributes to service continuity, data quality, and operational stability while supporting automation, AI-enabled improvements, and process optimization to reduce repetitive manual activities and improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

In this role you'll:

  • Maintain accurate and complete customer and provider data according to defined operational processes and SLA expectations.

  • Perform data validation, quality checks, monitoring, and controls during implementation and production activities.

  • Support production operations by investigating, resolving, and monitoring data-related incidents such as IRs/PTRs within SLA commitments.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, simplify processes, and reduce operational inefficiencies.

  • Contribute to automation and AI-enabled initiatives by documenting recurring activities, supporting requirements, testing solutions, and helping adoption.

  • Share knowledge with internal teams and customers through guidance, workshops, training, and best-practice recommendations.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Experience in data management, operational support, data validation, data quality control, monitoring, service implementation, production support, or customer/product data operations.

  • Good understanding of data-driven operations, customer/product activation processes, service continuity, SLA commitments, and operational excellence.

  • Willing to work on a hybrid set-up and on-call rotational assignment.

Skills:

  • Data analysis and validation, Excel or similar data tools, reporting/monitoring tools, incident investigation, process documentation, and basic understanding of automation or AI-enabled solutions.

  • Data maintenance, data quality, product-related data consistency, SLA-based operational support, incident monitoring, process improvement, customer usage optimization, workshops, audits, and best-practice guidance.

  • Collaborative mindset, analytical thinking, customer focus, continuous improvement mindset, ability to work in a global and diverse team, willingness to learn automation and AI-driven ways of working.
