Data Analyst
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Data Analyst who will support landfill gas (LFG) operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) projects by managing compliance data, reviewing monitoring results, and preparing regulatory reports. This role serves as a key resource for ensuring project data is complete, accurate, and compliant with federal, state, local, and client-specific requirements.
How you can make an impact
• Review monitoring data for assigned landfill gas (LFG) projects to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality standards
• Analyze monitoring results and promptly communicate findings, required corrective actions, and reporting timelines to Project Managers and field staff
• Prepare draft compliance reports and client deliverables in accordance with project scope, regulatory requirements, and company quality and style standards
• Assist field personnel with uploading monitoring data into company and client databases, providing backup support for data uploads and manual data entry when necessary
• Support the integration and ongoing use of mobile data collection technologies and compliance management systems
• Maintain a strong understanding of federal, state, local, and client-specific environmental compliance requirements related to landfill gas operation, maintenance, and monitoring
• Serve as a resource for Project Managers and staff on compliance databases, reporting tools, and data management best practices
• Coordinate compliance reporting activities with internal project teams to support successful project execution
• Maintain current records of operational permits and provide input on permit requirements that impact project operations
• Assist with project recordkeeping, document management, and organization of both digital and physical project files
• Stay informed of changing environmental regulations, landfill gas compliance requirements, and industry best practices, communicating relevant updates to project teams
• Collaborate regularly with compliance auditors, project staff, and other stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and project success
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree is highly desired
• Requires 1 to 2 years compliance OM&M experience gained through practical experience and extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Windows-based word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage deadlines, positive outgoing personality, and the ability to interface well with employees, clients, regulatory staff, vendors, and the public
• Ability to read, understand, and explain Federal, State, and Local compliance regulations as they pertain to LFG OM&M.
• Able to work with limited supervision; must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Valid Driver's License with driving record in good standing
