The Opportunity

Contract role – until June 2027

We’re looking for a versatile data professional who can bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data infrastructure while also diving into data to uncover insights and support decision-making. 

You’ll be instrumental in designing and maintaining data pipelines, enabling reliable access to high-quality data, and delivering clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across the organisation. 

What You’ll Do

Data Engineering: 

• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform and deliver data from various sources

• Problem solving manual processes towards automated solutions working towards scalability and consistency across the business 

• Develop and manage cloud-based data platforms (Alteryx Server) to support analytics and reporting

• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across systems
  

Data Analysis: 

• Explore and analyse structured and unstructured data to identify trends and opportunities

• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau to communicate insights effectively

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions

Governance & Collaboration: 

• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field. 

• Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL technologies 

• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python and VBA. 

• Experience with reporting platform and reporting practices (Tableau, PowerBI) 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data tools (e.g., Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake). 

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail 

• Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and accessible way.
