Role Overview:
Could you be our next Data Analyst I? American Income Life is looking for a Data Analyst I to join the team!
This role is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Reporting Administration Portfolio through a comprehensive range of activities including data analysis, planning, development, deployment, and ongoing support of new and existing projects that impact multiple business units and processes.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX. (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday–Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Complete and distribute routine reporting that tracks and measures initiative performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and findings for management review.
- Identify opportunities to utilize data analytics tools (Tableau, SQL, MS Excel, and other data mining tools) to monitor, extract, and evaluate data for streamlining existing storage and reporting processes.
- Track and analyze business unit trends and provide recommendations to positively impact departmental operations and maximize existing initiatives.
- Assist in quality assurance and testing when implementing new processes, procedures, and systems.
- Create and modify technical documentation including Business Requirement Documents and test cases for department projects.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Audit.
- 4+ years of experience in an Analyst role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau for data visualization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear insights and presentations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing requirements, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- SQL experience preferred.
