About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

Data Analyst II

About The Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Data Analyst II to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll independently own analytics for one or more business areas — turning ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insight that improves patient care, optimizes our platform, and drives key decisions. You'll analyze health-related data, surface trends in telemedicine usage, and partner directly with cross-functional teams to influence how we deliver and improve telehealth services. This is a role for someone who can run their own analytical workstreams end-to-end with minimal direction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own analytics for one or more business areas (e.g., Customer Success, Operations, Patient Support) end-to-end — from framing the problem to delivering the recommendation.

  • Independently scope ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, with limited guidance on approach.

  • Write and optimize SQL to pull, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring integrity and accuracy.

  • Apply statistical techniques and tools (SQL, Excel, R, Python) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Build and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and visualizations that stakeholders rely on to make decisions.

  • Partner directly with cross-functional stakeholders (finance, operations, customer success) to shape their data needs and influence outcomes with your insights.

  • Proactively identify and drive improvements to data collection and analysis processes.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.

  • Demonstrated hands-on SQL depth — able to write and troubleshoot queries independently (required).

  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Proven ability to work independently through ambiguity, managing competing priorities without close oversight.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into stakeholder-ready recommendations that drive action.

  • Effective both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Zoho Analytics strongly preferred.
