<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Capital is looking to hire an Analytics Engineer Associate to measurably drive growth to measurably drive growth for our business teams using analytics and data science.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role will work with &nbsp;Operations and Investment Management (OIPM) group and involve defining and calculating operational KPIs, transforming raw source data into processed business data, creating live dashboards to monitor performance, identifying driver metrics and statistical correlations, and finally working with business teams to enable data-driven change.</p> <p>&nbsp;You will sit in the Analytics group of the broader Data &amp; Analytics team within Technology, and will work closely with our Data Engineering group.&nbsp;</p> <p>On the technical side, you will interface with our data stack of Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, Prefect, Python and Tableau (among others). On the business side, you will work with our operations teams to produce management visibility, efficiency improvements and workflow automation.</p> <p>&nbsp;This is a technical, individual contributor role that blends data engineering, data analytics, data science. Ideal candidates will be highly proficient in our technical tooling, understand complex business problems, interface with senior stakeholders, develop execution plans, and finally present on their work.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul data-editing-info="{&quot;applyListStyleFromLevel&quot;:true,&quot;unorderedStyleType&quot;:1}"> <li>Write SQL within dbt to extract, transform, validate, and aggregate data.</li> <li>SQL / DBT - 50%; Tableau/PowerBI - 40%; Python - 10%</li> <li>Create Tableau dashboards for various business teams, charting key metrics and performing exploratory data analysis</li> <li>Monitor and deploy data pipelines into our orchestration infrastructure using Prefect</li> <li>Drive&nbsp;projects to completion by gathering business requirements, implementing technical solutions, following best software engineering practices, and finally presenting the findings</li> <li>Work closely with our engineering, product and business teams to form a thorough understanding of our industry and evolving data model</li> <li>Convert data insights into concrete, action-oriented and phased execution plans that measurably grow various business metrics over time</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul data-editing-info="{&quot;applyListStyleFromLevel&quot;:true,&quot;unorderedStyleType&quot;:1}"> <li>&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field</li> <li>4 to 8 years of experience in a data-related role</li> <li>Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of SQL (dbt experienced preferred)</li> <li>Good knowledge of a business intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)</li> <li>Good knowledge of Python, Microsoft Excel and intermediate statistics</li> <li>Familiar with data science techniques and machine learning models</li> <li>Prior experience with end-to-end project delivery (e.g. requirements gathering, scoping, working within large organizations, presenting on project plans and results)</li> <li>Detail-oriented, naturally curious and willing to question to status quo to understand business needs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul data-editing-info="{&quot;applyListStyleFromLevel&quot;:true,&quot;unorderedStyleType&quot;:1}"> <li>Prior experience in the financial services and alternative investments</li> <li>Prior experience in business analyst and/or project management roles</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $135,000.&nbsp; iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
