Our team is part of Nordea Asset Management, Global Trading. Within the investment management area, Global Trading, is responsible for order generation and trade execution on behalf of portfolio managers across asset classes. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.  What you’ll be doing Main responsibilities in this role: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Extend our data platform, adding new data sources and transformations in response to new business requirements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Build internal tools to support our trading desks.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Assist with implementing AI use cases leveraging our data models.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Drive projects within a value stream, binding together business and technology, to ensure we deliver tangible outcomes for our clients. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Interact with internal and external stakeholders, and our technology providers.</li> </ul> You’ll join a motivated and experienced quant team that values a cooperative environment where you can draw on your teammates' expertise and commitment to excellence. Who you are This is the right role for you if you are someone who takes ownership of your work and is driven to make a meaningful impact, while being comfortable sharing your opinions and challenging established ways of thinking. You bring a software engineering mindset to your data work, embracing practices such as everything-as-code and automated testing. You thrive on learning quickly, are interested in exploring alternative ways of working, and possess strong stakeholder management skills that enable you to build relationships and influence outcomes across the organization. Your background and skills include: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Experience working in a data analytics or data engineering capacity ideally using Python.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Experience with SQL.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">An interest in asset management and financial markets.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Fluent in English both verbal and written.</li> </ul> It would be ideal if you also: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Are familiar with Snowflake and dbt.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Have practical knowledge of using Apache Airflow e.g. building DAGs.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Have experience with AWS or other public cloud solution.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Have hands-on experience implementing AI use cases, or a demonstrable enthusiasm for leveraging AI to drive innovation and efficiency. </li> </ul> If this sounds like you, get in touch!
