Data Analytics Lead
We're looking for Data Analytics Lead to enable faster, better-informed decision-making across FTMO by turning data into a reliable foundation for action.
In this role, you will own both sides of the equation: the questions the business needs answered, and the data foundation that answers them. Teams across Product, Marketing, Finance and Trading will get trustworthy insights and self-service access to the numbers behind their strategy, and the data foundation underneath will stay well-modelled, documented and low-maintenance, so the whole company can rely on it. You will also shape how we use AI and agentic tooling to multiply what the data team delivers.
What will you do?
Partner with the business - act as the analytics partner to Product, Marketing, Finance and Trading, understanding their needs, scoping requests, agreeing deliverables and presenting findings to leadership.
Answer the hard questions - turn open-ended business questions into analysis and clear, actionable recommendations.
Lead the team's delivery - plan and prioritise the work, review and approve incoming tasks, support and onboard colleagues, and keep goals and status current.
Own the self-service layer - build and refine the semantic and reporting layers, and safeguard metric definitions and the business glossary so numbers stay consistent and trusted company-wide.
Drive AI adoption - champion AI and agentic tooling (Claude workflows, agentic visualisation, reusable skills) to speed up prototyping and everyday analysis, inside and outside the data team.
Keep the platform strong - ensure the stability and continuous development of our data foundation.
This is a hands-on leadership role -most of your time will go to leading the team, but some will stay in the stack, delivering analysis yourself — because AI is reshaping our work, and you will steer that from within, not from the sidelines.
What do you bring to the table?
A degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science or similar), or equivalent hands-on experience.
Several years in data analytics and a track record of owning analyses end to end.
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across functions such as Product, Marketing, Finance and so on.
Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating analysts, and a genuine interest in how AI is changing the way data teams work.
Strong SQL and hands-on work in a cloud data warehouse (we run on GCP / BigQuery); Python is a plus.
Data modelling and transformation (e.g. dbt or Dataform) — building tested, documented, low-maintenance datamarts and working in a structured, version-controlled workflow.
Strong BI and visualisation skills. A working grasp of data governance, quality and lineage.
Solid applied statistics - cohort, retention, elasticity and significance testing — and the judgement to match method to question.
Curiosity about AI and agentic tooling, and the drive to put it to work. Agentic workflow experience is a strong plus.
Strong business sense - you connect data to revenue, margin, pricing, acquisition and retention.
Clear communication — you turn technical findings into recommendations leaders can act on.
Rigour and a healthy scepticism about data quality
Ownership and the ability to prioritise across a broad, cross-functional request queue.
Leadership and collaboration — you enjoy supporting people's growth and helping the team do its best work
Fluency in English.
