Job Description

Are you interested in combining auditing and assurance with technology into your future career? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can challenge yourself and develop alongside your team? We are looking for students who are finalizing their studies or who have already graduated to join our Data & Analytics team as a Trainee in Helsinki.

We would like you to start your full-time Trainee period in November 2026 with a duration of 4 months. Many of our Trainees have continued with us after the Trainee period or upon graduating.

In the Data & Analytics trainee program, you will work with both our audit and audit analytics teams. You will be involved in the external audit of our key clients and will have the chance to perform data analytics and visualization using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and bespoke Deloitte software. Daily activities will encompass observing, interpreting data, integrating new information, theorizing, brainstorming, and making decisions based on multiple factors to deliver insights to the audit team and clients.

Qualifications

Are you our next Deloitte Trainee?

If you read the job description with excitement and possess an analytical mindset along with a passion for new challenges, you might be the Trainee we are looking for! We also wish that you have:

  • a recent bachelor’s or master’s degree or ongoing master studies (for example in finance, technology, information systems, mathematics or accounting)
  • basic programming and/or database skills for problem-solving and producing analysis
  • working knowledge of Excel (including formulae such as SUM, COUNT, IF, XLOOKUP, FILTER, MATCH).
  • a basic understanding of accounting concepts and frameworks
  • good analytical skills and collaboration skills
  • excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Finnish language skill is an advantage

Additional prior experience working with programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI is considered as an advantage.

Interviews are tentatively scheduled for weeks 39-40, but we will begin interviews during the application period.
