The Projects Workstream is looking for a driven professional in Calgary, Alberta to support SAP Plus, our enterprise-wide transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of project data, reporting, and analytics across the organization.
As an Analyst, Data & Integrations, you'll play a key role in ensuring project data is accurate, trusted, and ready for migration to S/4HANA. Working alongside the Data & Analytics team, project stakeholders, and business partners, you'll help improve data quality, support migration and archiving activities, and enable the shift from legacy reporting platforms to modern analytics solutions.

What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the Projects workstream data steward for project data, ensuring it is accurate, governed, and aligned with business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to establish data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, and accountability.
- In preparation for SAP ECC archiving and migration to SAP S/4, identify, analyze, and work with the business to resolve project data quality issues through validation, cleansing, and remediation.
- Support data migration, testing, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live activities for project-related data.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops to define data requirements and advise on process changes and improvements that inform future-state process and system design.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Asset Management to support project reporting, capitalization, settlement, and asset integration needs.
- Partner with the System Integrator, business, and technical teams to design, validate, and test project data integrations, including future-state integrations with connected project applications, ensuring downstream data dependencies are addressed.
- Work with business subject matter experts and the Data & Analytics team to define reporting and analytics requirements, rationalize existing project reports, and support the transition of legacy reporting (ECC, BW, BPC) to future-state platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Define and monitor data quality KPIs and controls, promote adoption of governance standards, and drive continuous improvement of project data processes across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, Finance or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in project controls, capital projects, project systems, master data, data governance or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, capital project governance, project controls and project reporting.
- Knowledge of WBS design, project coding, project costing, forecasting, settlements, capitalization and project-to-asset integration concepts.
- Demonstrated experience supporting data quality, cleansing, validation, reconciliation or migration activities.
- Strong analytical, issue-resolution, stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PS or business transformation initiatives is strongly preferred.
- SAP ECC, SAP EPPM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP MDG/MDM, MS Fabric or data quality tooling experience.
