Role Summary We are seeking a solution-driven and governance-focused Data Architect to support the design, development, and evolution of BankX's enterprise data architecture. This role is critical in ensuring that data across the organization is well-modeled, secure, high-quality, discoverable, and optimized for analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Business Stakeholders, and Data Governance teams to define architectural standards, enhance data flows, and ensure alignment with regulatory and internal policies such as PDPA. What You’ll Do 1. Enterprise Data Architecture Design <ul> <li>Define and maintain logical and physical data models across domains (e.g., customer, product, transaction, risk)</li> <li>Establish data architecture principles, naming conventions, and modelling standards aligned with business and regulatory needs.</li> <li>Design semantic layers, data marts, and feature stores to support analytics and AI use cases.</li> <li>Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure feature definitions are consistent, reusable, and aligned with business logic.</li> </ul> 2. Platform Integration & Optimization <ul> <li>Work with Data Engineers to implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake.</li> <li>Ensure architectural alignment across batch, streaming, and real-time data flows.</li> <li>Optimize data storage, partitioning, and indexing strategies for performance and cost-efficiency.</li> <li>Support AI/ML Engineers in designing model-ready datasets and feature pipelines.</li> </ul> 3. Governance & Metadata Management <ul> <li>Partner with Data Governance and Privacy teams to embed classification, lineage, and consent management into the architecture.</li> <li>Ensure integration with Unity Catalog, Azure Purview, and enterprise metadata tools.</li> <li>Design architecture that supports auditability, traceability, and policy enforcement across data and AI assets.</li> </ul> 4.
