As a Data & Business Analyst within our Data Solutions team, you will be working with both qualitative (investment documents) and quantitative data as it relates to the institutional investment industry. You will be part of a team with responsibilities such as: data sourcing, research, extraction, input, review, interpretation, and summary. You will take part in data association projects, whereby taking externally sourced data and associating it with existing records in our database.
You will be interacting with investment data across all asset classes from traditional (Equity and Fixed Income) to Hedge Funds and Private Markets (Private Equity, Private Debt, and Real Assets). his role requires collaboration with team members globally, many direct team members will be based in the United States.
Your expected shift hours will be commencing between 12:00PM โ 2:59PM IST.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist with data sourcing and input of institutional investment data
Conduct daily analysis, review, and summary of numerous investment documents
Participate in data integration efforts
Create and enhance data auditing processes and procedures, take part in data clean-up and reconciliation projects
Research institutional investors' investment disclosure in the United States and global markets
Review extracted data from tools for accuracy and make appropriate updates or revisions
Review regulatory filings and extract relevant information
We expect you to have:
- Overall experience of 2+ in Data Analysis preferably in Finance domain.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (macros a plus).
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL).
- Effective communication and presentation skills required.
- Knowledge of market structure & Financial services experience a plus
- Knowledge of Private Equity, Data Research , Venture Capital is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks during stressful situations.
- Ability to solve difficult problems with incomplete information.
- Must be able to adapt and learn new subject matter in short period of time
- Educational qualification : B.Com / M.Com / MBA / PGDM or equivalent degree in Finance
