Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing business intelligence solutions with a strong emphasis on Power BI. This position involves creating scalable, high-performance dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, backend systems, and business users, to deliver intuitive and impactful data visualizations aligned with organizational goals.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable BI solutions using Power BI with Tableau as added advantage.
Develop interactive dashboards, reports and data models to support business decision-making.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful visualizations.
Refine product requirements to technical requirements.
Develop and debug application code using modern web or mobile or streaming media programming languages. Implementation of features.
Use applicable unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality and adequate test coverage.
Work on solutions with security, accessibility, privacy, and performance in the forefront.
Work with quality assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
Establish logging, monitoring and alerting solutions.
Collaborate with technical operations teams to provide outstanding customer service.
Adhere to company guidelines around security and privacy.
Work independently on features while also participating in architecture and solution design.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skillset:
Experience with BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau
Have advanced capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Python to conduct analyses, build models, and present findings.
Knowledgeable in handling large set of data, databases, data warehouse design, cloud storage and ETL best practices.
Experience in data pipelines developments and systems such as SQL, Maria DB etc..
Excellent Communication skills with both US team and the team in India
Preferred Requirements:
A minimum of 3+ years of Power BI experience preferably within the supply chain / logistics industry, demand planning, CPG industry and/or retail replenishment.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field is a plus.
Knowledge of and experience with leading data reporting applications including Tableau, Qlikview, etc. is a plus.
