Where Youâll Make a Difference
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Fivetran, HVR, and DBT to ingest data from SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and other source systems into the cloud data warehouse.
Build and maintain dimensional data warehouses (Kimball star/snowflake schemas) supporting Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and Commercial analytics domains.
Write performant, modular Python/PySpark code for custom data ingestion, transformations, data quality checks, and orchestration logic.
Develop and optimize DBT models, macros, tests, and documentation; enforce coding standards, version control, and CI/CD discipline.
Own end-to-end administration and tuning of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or Synapse) â warehouse sizing, RBAC, resource monitors, query performance, cost optimization, and data sharing.
Map and reverse-engineer SAP source tables and relationships across SD, FICO, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules to build accurate downstream models.
Implement data quality, observability, and lineage controls â tests, anomaly detection, freshness monitors, alerting, and incident response.
Partner with data architects on modelling standards, naming conventions, and reusable patterns; partner with analytics/BI teams to deliver consumption-ready datasets.
Troubleshoot production pipeline failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes; participate in on-call rotations as needed.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or any other related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, with at least 3+ years building cloud data warehouses on Snowflake / Redshift / Synapse.
Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade pipelines from SAP ECC or S/4HANA into a modern cloud warehouse.
Deep, hands-on expertise with Fivetran and/or HVR for replicating data from SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and SaaS sources.
Production-grade experience with DBT â models, macros, tests, snapshots, exposures, packages, and CI/CD integration.
Strong understanding of ELT patterns, incremental loads, CDC (change data capture), and slowly changing dimensions.
Expert proficiency in Python for data engineering â pandas, SQLAlchemy, requests, orchestration SDKs, unit testing.
Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing on large datasets.
Strong SQL â advanced window functions, CTEs, query optimization, execution plan analysis.

Hands-on experience with lakehouse platforms â Databricks, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake (medallion architecture, Unity Catalog).
SnowPro Core/Advanced, DBT Analytics Engineer, Databricks Data Engineer, AWS/Azure data certifications.
Experience with NoSQL databases â Neo4J (graph), MongoDB / CouchDB (document), Cassandra (wide-column) â and knowing when to use them.
