Project Role : Data Governance Practitioner
Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards. Throughout the day, the practitioner facilitates efficient data collection, storage, access, and usage processes. Additionally, they actively drive data stewardship initiatives to ensure comprehensive and effective governance across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and data quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Support the continuous improvement of data governance frameworks and processes.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with data governance policies and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote awareness and adoption of data governance best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their understanding of data governance principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS BigData.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to work with data security and privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to implement data stewardship initiatives.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in AWS BigData.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
