This role requires coordinating multiple teams to align on migration strategies, establishing controls to monitor progress, and proactively managing risks to ensure a seamless transition to the target system. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration across various stakeholders to maintain data integrity and support operational readiness throughout the migration process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement migration plans that align with organizational goals and timelines.
- Monitor migration progress and quality, ensuring adherence to defined standards and controls.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, PySpark.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong expertise in managing large-scale data migration projects using modern data analytics platforms.
- Ability to design and implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and risk management practices in data migration contexts.
