<p data-path-to-node="0"><strong data-path-to-node="0" data-index-in-node="0">Dark Wolf</strong> is seeking <strong data-path-to-node="0" data-index-in-node="21">Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME)</strong> to join a collaborative team to develop, manage, and maintain the privacy and data compliance posture of information systems. The successful candidate will focus on Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), PII governance, and policy development aligned with Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) Research &amp; Engineering (R&amp;E) programs. You will support your team and customer through compliance planning, agreement execution, and privacy risk management, ensuring high standards of data protection and regulatory compliance. This position will be based out of the Washington DC/Northern VA metro area with hybrid schedule opportunity. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Conducting and reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and drafting Social Security Number (SSN) justification memorandums to ensure compliant data ingestion and processing.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Managing and maintaining the continuous, ongoing inventory of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) across organization systems and repositories.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Documenting and developing comprehensive data privacy policies, standard operating procedures, and frameworks tailored to and aligned with CDAO R&amp;E programs.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Drafting, reviewing, and managing customer data-sharing agreements, Memorandums of Understanding/Agreement (MOUs/MOAs), and interconnected system agreements.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Utilizing and learning RPA tools—specifically UiPath (on-the-job training provided)—to automate privacy workflows, data discovery, and compliance reporting tracking.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Coordinating with cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, and legal teams to ensure proper privacy controls are enforced to protect the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive environments.</li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="5">Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Data Governance, Legal Studies, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">3+ years of relevant data privacy, financial compliance, or information assurance experience</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Proven experience handling Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), managing PII inventories, or acting as a Privacy Analyst / Compliance Officer within a federal or DoD environment</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Hands-on tool experience associated with data discovery, compliance management, or workflow tracking</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Familiarity with federal privacy regulations, NIST privacy frameworks, and risk management policies/procedures</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Ability to use prior experience and knowledge to address new data compliance situations, especially during direct interactions with clients</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Ability to communicate on complex privacy and technical subjects using clear, concise, non-technical language. This includes strong written communications, the ability to provide rigorous feedback on documentation, and the ability to prepare executive briefings</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for compiling reports, inventories, and policy documentation</li> <li data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Willingness and capability to undergo on-the-job training (OTJ) to work within the UiPath robotic process automation platform</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;" data-path-to-node="6,0,0"><strong>US Citizenship and an active&nbsp;Secret security clearance</strong></li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="8">Desired Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">One or more relevant professional privacy or security certifications (e.g., IAPP <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="97">CIPP/G</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="105">CIPP/US</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="114">CIPM</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="120">CIPT</strong>, or standard security baselines like <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="162">Security+ CE</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="176">CAP/ISC2 CGRC</strong>)</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Prior experience working with or supporting Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) initiatives, data governance bodies, or R&amp;E frameworks</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Prior foundational knowledge of or exposure to UiPath, Blue Prism, or other Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Three (3) or more years of experience with the IC Community’s or Department of Defense's data handling policies and privacy compliance processes</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Demonstrated experience negotiating and structuring multi-agency data-sharing agreements or financial memos within a government framework</li> </ul> <p>The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,000.00 - $145,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are strictly looking for direct, full-time W2 employees.
