Make your mark in Data Management & Governance
As a world leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions operating in over 70 countries and jurisdictions, AIG’s Global Business Operations & IT team identifies and drives high-quality innovation and cost efficiency in all our processes, systems and operations. The organization ensures we operate as one globally consistent business delivering end-to-end services locally that contribute to our customers’ and AIG’s success.

How you will create an impact
The Issue Management and Remediation (IMR) Analyst will drive the end-to-end data issue lifecycle for the APAC region — from intake and triage through root cause analysis, remediation planning, execution oversight, and closure validation. This role partners closely with data owners, technology teams, business stakeholders, and risk and compliance functions to ensure data issues are resolved in a structured, timely, and auditable manner consistent with our enterprise data governance framework.
The APAC IMR Analyst will be the regional anchor for issues affecting APAC business lines, with particular focus on regulatory-driven data issues, financial reporting data, customer data, and cross-border data flows. This role works closely with regional business partners and global IMR leads in EMEA and North America.

Monitor remediation activities, manage dependencies, and escalate risks or delays to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure issues are resolved in line with enterprise data governance standards and regulatory expectations.
Produce data quality dashboards, KPI/KRI reporting, and trend analysis for senior leadership and governance forums.
Identify recurring data quality themes and opportunities to strengthen controls, processes, and governance practices.
Support continuous improvement of data quality issue management processes, tooling, and best practices across the region.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
